The 3M 903 Safety-Walk Rubber Hand Roller facilitates firm, even bonds when applying 3M Safety Walk tape and other slip-resistant tapes/treads. It features a 2-inch wide rubber roller surface that does not damage tapes or the surrounding area and ensures that no inconsistencies that can decrease effectiveness, such as bubbling, are present after application. The 2-inch width allows for wide treads to easily be covered in just a few passes, greatly increasing efficiency when applying multiple strips in quick succession or covering large areas. The glow cleats are 30 millicandelas per m2 at two minutes, and glowness decreases to five millicandelas after 10 minutes. Even after 30 minutes they are clearly visible in a totally dark room to the night-adjusted eye, but it would not compare in brightness to a standard flashlight. Please note that if you apply this product onto a porous surface such as wood, concrete or stone, the manufacturer recommends using a surface primer prior to application to help create a stable substrate.
