Polyken 105C Multi-Purpose Double Coated Carpet Tape is a double-sided tape on a cloth carrier which features residue free removal from most surfaces. Polyken 105C Carpet Tape applications include: carpet hold-down specially designed for conventions & exhibitions; general purpose uses in aircraft manufacture and construction; multipurpose use for general mounting and holding; and temporary holding applications for industrial use. Polyken 105C can also be used to hold a plastic dropcloth in place while painting. Because of the tape's cloth carrier and its ability to remove without leaving adhesive residue behind this tape is also sometimes referred to as double-sided gaffers tape. Even though the tape is designed to remove adhesive-residue free it still does offer 40 ounces per inch of peel adhesion so some customers alternatively use the tape as a type of lint roller to pull up loose residue from a surface. Low VOC content and can contribute toward satisfying EQ Credit 4.1 (Low Emitting Materials) under LEED®. Comes on a blue film liner (film liners are great for applying the tape over larger areas since a film liner will not tear; however if you are looking for an easier to remove liner for smaller jobs please see Polyken 105C-P which is the same product but on a paper release liner).
