Polyken 226 Nuclear Grade Duct Tape is a polyethylene coated cloth tape meeting nuclear regulations. The tape has multiple uses in power plants and ships; specifically for use with nickel-based alloys and austenitic stainless steels. Also for holding dosimeters; securing clothing and gloves; wrapping pipe ends; insulation & duct sealing; and color coding and packaging. Features of Polyken 226 include: high tensile strength for difficult applications; puncture & abrasion resistance; crisp, straight tear; moisture, solvent & abrasion resistant; and aggressive adhesion to all surfaces. Meets NRC and ANSI regulations. The tape has low VOC content and can contribute toward satisfying EQ Credit 4.1 (Low Emitting Materials) under LEED®.
