  • 3M All Weather Flashing Tape (8067)

    3M 8067 All-Weather Flashing Tape is used to create a self-adhesive barrier for use in the construction industry to seal window and door openings against moisture infiltration and intrusion. The tape has a unique, aggressive acrylic adhesive and a thin, proprietary flashing membrane backing. The translucent 9.9 mil thick tape is tear-resistant and durable yet still fits conveniently into corners and under siding and comes. Comes on a split paper release liner for fast, easy, and accurate positioning of the tape. 3M 8067 is high tack (can even adhere to damp surfaces), self-sealing around nails, conformable, thin and resists UV exposure for up to six months. It is eligible for LEED® compliance credits and meets AAMA 711-05. Applications, where 3M 8067 is used, include sealing around openings in exterior walls; joints around sills, jambs, and heads of rectangular windows in wood frame construction; and also around other wall interruptions in non-roof areas, such as thresholds, dryer vents, and hose bibs. Also good for flashing, protecting, seaming, splicing and waterproofing in the building and construction, window and door, roofing and siding industries.

  • Polyken Shadowlastic Plus Window & Door Flashing Tape (627-20)

    Polyken 627-20 Shadowlastic Plus Window & Door Flashing Tape is designed to perform in a variety of flashing and weatherproofing applications including window and door installations, corner board abutments, and sealing other detail areas against water and air penetration. Polyken 627-20 is also used in sidewall sheathing seams and deck-to-wall joints and has an excellent bond to a variety of building materials including plywood, OSB, housewrap, concrete, and most metals. This tape features a woven polyethylene backing which is conformable, durable, and suitable for up to 3 years of outdoor UV exposure. Polyken 627-20 Shadowlastic Plus provides a permanent weather-tight seal on most clean, dry building surfaces and is compatible with sealants and caulking. The paper release liner is easy to remove making for a quicker installation. Polyken Shadowlastic Plus Flashing Tape has an installation temperature of 30°F to 180°F (-1°C to 82°C) and an operating temperature of -30°F to 200°F (-34°C to 93°C) Polyken 627-20 Shadowlastic Plus Window & Door Flashing Tape can contribute toward requirements for EA Credit 1 (Optimize Energy Performance) under LEED when used properly and meets AAMA-711, ASTM E2112 specifications.
