Patco 5560 Removable Protective Film Tape combines a moderate tack, low adhesion acrylic adhesive with a conformable, durable polyethylene film backing that won't damage or leave residue on most surfaces. It's suitable for general protective masking on glass, metals and plastics that must be temporarily protected during assembly or shipping. It's highly conformable and is resistant to abrasion, solvents and moisture. It can be easily and cleanly removed. Patco 5560 removable tape provides just enough tack to remain adhered during a transfer process, yet since it's slightly less adhesive than blue painters tape, it is easily removable without leaving any sticky residue. Also, this product is not a static-cling-only type tape like the discontinued 3M 2112C. This tape is not crystal clear like a book repair tape. It is more transparent to translucent and is designed so end users can easily identify the tape in order to remove it.

Patco 3900R Embossed Removable Protective Film Tape is a polypropylene film tape used for protective masking on multiple surfaces during lamination, molding, or machining where clean removal is critical. It is specifically designed for use on textured surfaces. Since the tape is embossed it will stand out in relief (will not have a smooth feel to it). Also, Patco labels the tape as clear; however, it is not a crystal clear or completely transparent tape because of the embossment (would call it more translucent - please see photos). The tape can also be used as graphics protection for skis, snowboards, and other outdoor equipment where crisp graphics are critical. It also can be used for screen and direct print (130°C press temp). Patco 3900R is conformable, stretchy, and heat resistant (it has excellent high-temperature performance). It also does not lift during molding or shaping and removes cleanly, leaving no residue after processing under a wide range of conditions. Patco 5865 Heavy-Duty Removable Protective Film Tape is a polyethylene film tape used for general protective masking applications on plastics and metal that require temporary surface protection during assembly, shipping, or installation. It can also be used as a laminate for nickel-plated nameplates. The tape is thick, yet highly conformable and offers moderate tack which bonds to most surfaces. Patco 5865 is also abrasion, moisture, and solvent resistant. It removes cleanly without leaving adhesive residue behind. Helps to save by reducing damage to delicate surfaces. This tape does not offer UV-protection; however, if you need to provide temporary paint protection from punctures and abrasion on say a bicycle frame during a bike race this would be one to look at. This tape does have moderate tack adhesive on one side which allows it to stay adhered during a shipping process; it is not a static-cling-only type tape.
