- NAT 616 Black Adhesive Gaffers Tape
North American Tapes 616 Black Adhesive Gaffers Tape is a vinyl-coated cloth tape with an aggressive natural rubber based adhesive which adheres well to a variety of surfaces. All components of NAT 616 Gaffers Tape are black (the vinyl coating, the cloth backing, and the adhesive) so the product is completely opaque and blends in on stage and set floors (white line edges are not visible on the tape like they are with most gaffers tapes). Its matte black finish minimizes reflection from lights on live stage and studio sets. Applications for the tape include: bundling and wrapping wires; holding wires in place to prevent tripping hazards; masking stage floors; and black-out masking on scenery panels or backstage areas. Its conformable backing also assists with application to irregular surfaces.

Polyken 510 has the smoothest finish of any gaffers tape we carry. It also has a softer adhesive than most other gaffers tapes so it adheres better to carpets. Polyken has recently discontinued dark blue and green in the 510 and limited inventory remains. When your test pack is shipped your packing slip will also include a unique access code which will enable you to rank the 9 tapes you received in reference to how well they performed for your specific application. Scapa 200N Premium Fluorescent Gaffers Tape is a premium gaffer tape that comes in bright eye-catching colors. It is available in the traditional four neon colors: fluorescent green, orange, pink and yellow. Scapa 200N Gaffers Tape is 12 mils thick and has an adhesion of 35 ounces per inch. The tape also shows up great under black light (the fluorescent orange and pink look similar under blacklight however).
Note: Scapa has recently announced they are discontinuing Scapa 200N in all four fluorescent neon colors - green, orange, pink, and yellow. Pro Tapes Cable-Path Tape is a zone-coated gaffers tape. This unique product is designed to make the advancement of cable a breeze. Pro Tapes Cable Path Tape is a premium vinyl coated cloth tape that is coated on both edges with a premium cured rubber adhesive system. The center portion has a smooth surface for pulling cable and wire through easily without binding (approximately 2-1/2 inches on the 4 inch tape and 3-1/2 inches on the 6 inch tape). The high performance adhesive will hold firmly for extended periods of time on most surfaces and removes without residue. Matte gaffer backing for low reflectivity of light and the backing is hand tearable.
- JVCC J90 Low Gloss Gaffer-Style Duct Tape
JVCC J90 Low Gloss Gaffer-Style Duct Tape is a low gloss finish gaffer-style duct tape. It is a matte-finish polyethylene coated cloth tape with an adhesive that removes residue free from most surfaces (surface type & dwell time may affect performance). It is also commonly referred to as AV cord tape. JVCC J90 Gaffers Tape is suitable for entertainment type applications (film, concerts, music, DJ's, conventions, trade shows, photography, etc.) where minimal visibility of tape is desired. Used for protecting and anchoring cable, wires and electrical cords; sealing of equipment cases and film canisters; and in stage set-ups for marking placement (i.e. "spike" tape). Also suitable as a book binding tape for seaming and reinforcement. JVCC J90 conforms well to irregular surfaces, and will not twist or curl. Has excellent water, vapor and abrasion resistance.

With 50 ounces per inch adhesion, Scapa 225 provides good tack, but it is also designed to remove adhesive-residue free. It also features a matte, non-reflective backing and it has a total thickness of 12 mils. Applications include bundling, waterproof wrapping, packaging and color coding. It also has the lowest gloss of any gaffers tape we carry.

JVCC Stage-Set Spike Tape is a 1/2 inch wide gaffers tape that comes in 20 different colors. Spike tape is a narrow gaffers tape which is used to mark stages and for other color coding applications. Since it is a gaffers tape it will not leave adhesive residue behind when removed, can be torn by hand, and will not reflect light. The printing did not set right so when the tape is unwound from the roll part of the black printing comes off and sticks to the adhesive side (see photo). Tip: if you unwind the tape quickly from the roll then not as much of the black printing will come off.

- Scapa 225T Zone Coated Gaffers Tape (60 yard)
Scapa 225T Zone Coated Gaffers Tape consists of premium-grade Scapa 225 gaffers tape which is zone coated with rubber adhesive. Unlike traditional cable path or wire line tapes the adhesive in the center of the tape is not deadened rather adhesive is never applied to that area of the tape. This makes the tape more economically priced. The adhesive-free zone in the center of the tape allows for cabling and wires to be easily pulled through. Since it is constructed from gaffers tape no residue will be left behind on your cables after a show or event. Comes in 60 yard length rolls so double the length of standard cable path/wire line tape.
