This tape is a wonderful addition to any industrial shop, warehouse, or home project and instantly creates a receptive surface for magnets anywhere you can place tape. FindTape MGRS Receptive Steel Tape is offered in an indoor-grade or outdoor-grade adhesive material. Both grades are made with a strong, flexible non-magnetic material and coated with either a high-tack rubber based adhesive (indoor-grade) or an acrylic adhesive (outdoor-grade) on one side. Designed for lightweight applications like when have a stainless steel refrigerator and need something to attract a photo with a magnet-backing to (this product will not offer enough attraction for heavier-weight objects). FindTape MGRS Receptive Steel Tape will conform to surfaces and is offered in .025 (1/40) inch thick x 1-inch x 10 or 100 feet and .025 (1/40) inch thick x 1/2-inch x 10 or 100 feet rolls wound on a 3-inch diameter core. MGRS Receptive Steel Tape indoor-grade features a service/operating temperature of 0°F to 150°F, while the outdoor-grade material has a 0°F to 200°F service/operating temperature. Product Applications Interchangeable graphics Menu boards Displays and pictures Crafts Calendars Trade show booths Presentation boards Packet attachment NOTE: If your tape curls when you try to apply it to your surface or doesn't seem to attract well when trying a magnet against it, this is due to being wound in a roll and has no effect on the properties or quality of the tape. Simply unwind and cut a piece from the roll, place under a weight (e.g. a book or stack of papers) for a short period of time to help flatten out the strip/piece of tape, then apply to your surface or test as normal. CAUTION: Always test the tape on a small, inconspicuous area before using to ensure the tape does not damage the surface. The adhesive may not be easily removed and could leave a mark on some surfaces.

  • FindTape Matched Pole Magnetic Tape [Adhesive-Backed, 1/16" thickness] (MGMP)

FindTape MGMP Matched Pole Magnetic Tape is a flexible magnetic tape coated in a permanent, rubber-based adhesive on one side and has a multipole one-face magnet on the other. The matched pole tape has a high initial tack and is ideal for lightweight applications requiring a long-lasting adhesive. If you can apply tape to the surface you can easily create a magnetic area for graphics, signage, and more. FindTape MGMP Matched Pole Magnetic Tape is a single-faced magnet so one side has either A or B polarity and the other side is coated with an adhesive. The side with polarity will have the strongest attraction to the opposite polarity (A-side to B-side or B-side to A-side) but will also attract ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel, and cobalt. The tape is not strongly attracted to the side of the same polarity. FindTape MGMP Matched Pole Magnetic Tape is available in A-side: 1/16 inch thick x 1 inch x 10 foot rolls or B-side: 1/16 inch thick x 1 inch 10 foot rolls, both wound on a 3 inch diameter core. Please note that the 1/16 inch magnet has a thickness of 60 mils, and is therefore slightly under 1/16 inch thickness. FindTape MGMP Matched Pole Magnetic Tape permanent magnets remain magnetized indefinitely if not subjected to a demagnetizing force. For this reason, FindTape Magnetic Tape is not returnable. Product Applications Interchangeable graphics Menu boards Nameplates Displays and pictures Crafts Calendars Trade show booths Presentation boards Packet attachment NOTE: If your magnetic tape curls when you try to apply it to your surface, this is due to being wound in a roll and has no effect on the magnetic properties or quality of the tape. Simply unwind and cut your piece from the roll, place under a weight (e.g. a book or stack of papers) for a short period of time to help "flatten" out the strip of magnetic tape, then apply to your surface as normal. If requested, FindTape MGMP Matched Pole Magnetic Tape is available in A-side - .060 inch thick x 1 inch x 100 foot rolls and B-side - .060 inch thick x 1 inch x 100 foot rolls for larger projects and applications. • FindTape Outdoor Magnetic Tape [Adhesive-Backed, 1/32" thickness] (MGSPO)

FindTape MGSPO Outdoor Magnetic Tape is a flexible magnetic tape coated with a permanent, high-tack acrylic adhesive on one side and has a multipole one-face magnet on the other. The outdoor tape is ideal for lightweight applications where the tape is exposed to sunlight or adhered to flexible plastics. If you can apply tape to the surface you can easily create a magnetic area for graphics, signage, banners, and more. FindTape MGSPO Outdoor Magnetic Tape is available in 1/32 inch thick x 1 inch x 10 foot rolls wound on a 3-inch diameter core. Please note that the 1/32 inch magnet has a thickness of 30 mils and is therefore slightly under 1/32 inch thick. FindTape MGSPO Outdoor Magnetic Tape is a single-faced multipole magnet, so one side has a polarity and the other side is coated with an adhesive. The side with polarity would be attracted to ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel and cobalt. It would also be attracted to a magnet of the opposite polarity. The tape is slightly attracted to itself but has a stronger attraction to ferromagnetic materials. FindTape MGSPO Outdoor Magnetic Tape permanent magnets remain magnetized indefinitely if not subjected to a demagnetizing force. For this reason, FindTape Magnetic Tape is not returnable. Product Applications Banners Outdoor signage Interchangeable graphics Menu boards Nameplates Displays and pictures Calendars Trade show booths Presentation boards NOTE: If your magnetic tape curls when you try to apply it to your surface, this is due to being wound in a roll and has no effect on the magnetic properties or quality of the tape. • FindTape Indoor Magnetic Tape [Adhesive-Backed] (MGSPI)

FindTape MGSPI Indoor Magnetic Tape is a flexible magnetic tape coated in a permanent, rubber based adhesive on one side and has a multipole one-face magnet on the other. The indoor tape has a high initial tack and is ideal for lightweight applications requiring a long-lasting adhesive. If you can apply tape to the surface you can easily create a magnetic area for graphics, signage, and more. FindTape MGSPI Indoor Magnetic Tape is available in four sizes - 1/32 inch thick x 1 inch x 10 or 100 foot rolls or 1/16 inch thick x 1 inch x 10 or 100 foot rolls, both wound on a 3-inch diameter core. Please note that the 1/32 inch magnet has a thickness of 30 mils and the 1/16 inch magnet has a thickness of 60 mils, and is therefore slightly under 1/32 in. and 1/16 in. thicknesses. The 30 mil thick magnet is best for lighter weight applications such as small graphics, displays, and calendars as compared to the 60 mil thick magnet that is able to hold items such as graphic signs, lightweight fabric materials and panels, nameplates, and more. FindTape MGSPI Indoor Magnetic Tape is a single-faced multipole magnet so one side has a polarity and the other side is coated with an adhesive. The side with polarity would be attracted to ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel and cobalt. It would also be attracted to a magnet of the opposite polarity. The tape is slightly attracted to itself but has a stronger attraction to ferromagnetic materials. FindTape MGSPI Indoor Magnetic Tape permanent magnets remain magnetized indefinitely if not subjected to a demagnetizing force.

  • JVCC Magnetic Tape [With Adhesive, 1/32" thickness] (MAG-01)

JVCC MAG-01 Magnetic Tape is a flexible magnet mounted on a thin polyester film which has been coated on one side with an aggressive rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive. The tape is supplied self-wound on a semi-bleached kraft paper liner. The magnet is comprised of a multipole one face flexible magnet (composite of strontium and/or barium ferrite particles oriented with a thermoplastic polymer matrix). These permanent magnets remain magnetized indefinitely if not subjected to a demagnetizing force. This tape is not returnable for this reason. This magnet has a thickness of 30 mils as noted in the product specializations so is slightly under 1/32 inch in thickness. As such it would not be able to hold up heavier weight items like heavy-weight fabric (see the 1/16 inch thick JVCC MAG-02 for heavier weight items). Through our own testing, we have found when the surface area of a 2-1/2 inch long x 1 inch wide strip weighs up to 0.5 pounds it is attracted enough to MAG-01 to be held up. One way we've found to increase the magnetic attraction is to cut some MAG-01 into two pieces and then peel off the release liner to expose the adhesive side and then adhere to the two substrates. Then bring both magnetic sides together which typically creates a stronger magnetic bond. As noted above JVCC MAG-01 is a single-faced multi-pole magnet so one side has a polarity and the other side is coated with an adhesive. The side with polarity would be attracted to ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel, and cobalt. It would also be attracted to a magnet of the opposite polarity. The tape is NOT attracted to itself (it repels) since it would need a magnet of the opposite polarity to attract. NOTE: if your magnetic tape curls when you try to apply it to your surface, this is due to being wound in a roll and has no effect on the magnetic properties or quality of the tape. Simply unwind and cut your piece from the roll, place under a weight (e.g. a book or stack of papers) for a short period of time to help "flatten" out the strip of magnetic tape, then apply to your surface as normal.

  • JVCC Magnetic Tape [With Adhesive, 1/16" thickness] (MAG-02)

JVCC MAG-02 Magnetic Tape is a flexible magnet mounted on a thin 4.5 mil polyester film which has been coated on one side with an aggressive acrylic-based pressure-sensitive adhesive. The indoor/outdoor adhesive the tape is coated with is for bonding applications where outstanding adhesion, high shear, and good solvent and UV resistance are required. This magnet has a thickness of 60 mils as noted in the product specializations so is slightly under 1/16 inch in thickness. Through our own testing, we have found when the surface area of a 2-1/2 inch long x 1 inch wide strip weighs up to 0.7 pounds it is attracted enough to MAG-02 to be held up. As such it would hold up heavier weight items better than the 1/32 inch thick MAG-01 Magnetic Tape JVCC also provides; however it is not magnetic enough to work through a substrate like leather. Also as noted above JVCC MAG-02 is a single-faced multi-pole magnet so one side has a polarity and the other side is coated with an adhesive.

  • JVCC Writeable Magnetic Tape [Nonadhesive] (MAG-01-W)

JVCC MAG-01-W Writeable Magnetic Tape is comprised of a multipole one face flexible magnet (composite of strontium and/or barium ferrite particles oriented with a thermoplastic polymer matrix). These permanent magnets remain magnetized indefinitely if not subjected to a demagnetizing force. This tape is not returnable for this reason. The side with polarity would be attracted to ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel, and cobalt. It would also be attracted to a magnet of the opposite polarity. The tape is NOT attracted to itself (it repels) since it would need a magnet of the opposite polarity to attract. The tapes marked as write-on/wipe-off have a non-porous, smooth, and shiny white vinyl surface. Writeable with a dry erase marker and just wipe off. Applications include whiteboard, warehouse labels, store/retail shelf labels, schedule/planning boards, and control charts. The tapes marked as writeable have a porous, writeable, screen-printable matte white vinyl surface. Writeable with a permanent marker, or with a water-soluble marker (wipe off with a damp rag) for non-permanent applications. Note, wiping off will gray surface over time. Applications include: automobile signs, marketing displays/premiums, business cards, warehouse/barcode labels, and control charts. 1/32 in. thickness.
