A hidden message, "OPENED VOID", along with a unique serial number is deposited on the container if the tape is removed or tampered with. The unique per roll serial number can be added to the packing list, shipping manifest or bill of lading for verification when it reaches the recipient. The tape is perforated every 6 inches so it has approximately 300 easy to separate pieces per roll. Intertape Legend Reinforced Gummed Paper Tape is a water-activated reinforced tape designed to provide consistent performance in carton sealing applications where durability, extra strength and reliability are required. Gummed Paper Tape is used for two strip sealing cartons top & bottom. Water-activated reinforced tapes bond instantly to both virgin and recycled fiber (corrugated carton, paper, etc.) surfaces and therefore, generate an immediate destructive bond resulting in a tamper evident package. Starch based adhesive absorbs dust and bonds securely to the carton. Sealing the seam also acts as a dust barrier. Not affected by extreme hot or cold temperatures. Non-cellulose materials can be removed during repulping and allow for easy recycling.

JVCC CELLO-1 Cellophane Tape is a pure cellulose transparent tape which is eco-friendly since it is biodegradable. Uses include carton sealing, repairing papers, gift wrapping and other craft projects. The tape is hand-tearable and is often used in the electronics industry since it is also static-free. The tape has a yellowish-hue on the roll, but is clear when applied. Cellulose tape also doesn't immediately snap back onto the roll like polypropylene film tape after a section is cut off which makes it easier to grab the next piece.

JVCC OPP-22CC Crystal Clear Carton Sealing Tape is a 2.2 mil biaxially oriented polypropylene film tape coated with a solvent based acrylic adhesive. See-through "CRYSTAL CLEAR" imprinted on 3" core. Crystal clear tape is non-yellowing and UV resistant with a long shelf life. Used for carton sealing. May also be used for lamination and in cold temperature applications.
