Shurtape FP-96 General Purpose Kraft Packaging Tape is a general purpose brown paper tape used for packaging, binding, splicing, holding, tabbing, carton sealing, reinforcing, banding and patching for a variety of substrates. The tape features a strong, flexible and conformable backing with high cross-direction tensile strength. Shurtape FP 96 has an aggressive, high tack adhesive with excellent holding power and excellent quick stick, particularly effective in cold weather. The tape color blends well with cardboard and Kraft cartons and unlike traditional film packaging tapes, the tape can be torn by hand. Resists curling, abrasion, water, solvents and oil. It also is a good choice for "Shingling" (tape-on-tape) applications. FP 96 is a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape and does not need water to activate it like a gummed paper tape. Intertape 530 Utility-Grade Flatback Packaging Tape is a pressure-sensitive, moisture resistant Kraft flatback tape coated with an aggressive blend natural/synthetic rubber adhesive designed to offer a positive, attractive seal and excellent adhesion to minimize carton sealing failures and prevent pilferage. Performs well under a wide range of temperature and humidity conditions. IPG 530 (previously called Anchor 530) is designed for use in applications where reduced weight can provide packaging material savings. Complies with Postal Regulation for Uninsured Packages. Application uses include carton sealing, packaging, silk screening, picture framing, beaming/leasing, splicing, and tabbing. The product is not repulpable. If product size is on sale and mentions that it comes on a non-branded white core means our converter had an overstock jumbo roll available so rolls get slit from that. When rolls are slit from a jumbo they get wound onto plain white cores, not an Intertape / IPG branded core.

Shurtape FP-115 High Performance Grade Kraft Packaging Tape is a high-performance brown paper tape used for industrial splicing, start-up, tabbing, shingling and overlapping applications. It's also ideal for tasks in which the tape must stick to itself, including shingling and overlapping activities. The tape features a very high adhesion, quick bond, strong hold to smooth and porous papers, easy start-up and unwind, and is hand-tearable. This holds safely during processing ambient and elevated temperatures to keep work moving quickly and efficiently. Shurtape FP 115 is resistant to moisture and humidity, which prevents the tape from lifting, puckering, and curling. The tape effectively secures the paper to the core during roll start-up, holds the splice during processing and anchors the end of the roll securely.

JVCC FPPT-01 Kraft Flatback Paper Packaging Tape is a brown color kraft flatback paper coated with a natural/synthetic rubber blend adhesive system. Good for carton sealing applications, moderate demand splicing applications, tabbing and/or core starting. Complies with Postal Regulation for Uninsured Packages. May be used in picture framing applications to seal back of frame/artwork due to its ability to stick to its own backing. This tape is a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape and does not need water to activate it like a gummed paper tape. The tape is hand-tearable and is not repulpable. This tape has a more matte (less shiny) surface than Shurtape FP-96 Kraft paper tape. Also please note that since this is a very soft tape you will oftentimes see gapping and pressure points along the side of the rolls once it is cut to width; however, this will not affect the performance of the tape.

3M 2519 High Performance Flatback Tape is a high-performance brown paper tape used for splicing liner boards, bundling, holding, packaging applications, reinforcing, wrapping and protecting. It has a strong, heavy-duty paper backing and a proprietary high strength adhesive which gives confidence in critical applications. 3M 2519's color blends well with cardboard and Kraft cartons and unlike traditional film packaging tapes the tape can be torn by hand. The tape is coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive and does not need water to activate it like a gummed paper tape. Features & Benefits Excellent tack and holding power. Shurtape FP-202 Premium Grade Bleached Flatback Packaging Tape is used for splicing and hand and machine carton sealing applications as well as in general-purpose applications when a thick paper backing is necessary. Constructed of a heavy-duty kraft flatback paper coated with a high tack rubber-based adhesive with excellent quick stick properties. Shurtape FP 202 resists abrasion, water, solvents, and oil. When it is used as a carton sealing tape, meets or exceeds requirements for motor freight, railway, air express, air freight, postal shipments, and government packaging. Shurtape doesn't call out any USPS specifications specifically on any of their paper carton sealing tapes; however, FP-202 does meet the ASTM D5486M specification for PSA box sealing/closures.

Intertape PS1 Premium Paper Flatback Tape is designed for superior performance in a variety of packaging, splicing and tabbing applications. It provides quick adhesion in various temperature and humidity conditions up to 400°F. PS1 has a royal blue heavy-duty saturated paper flatback backing, a non-printable release coat, and a pressure-sensitive synthetic rubber/resin adhesive. The royal blue color provides easy identification of splices, even in high-speed operations. Intertape PS-1 provides excellent adhesion to flooring materials and heavy kraft paper surfaces. Offers a positive splice under constant web tension; e.g. belt sander splices/seams. Also works well on polyethylene (PE) coated liquid boxboard. This tape is an automotive-grade, stain-resistant adhesive and is also used for holding, mild to medium grit blast, and as paint adhesion (cross-hatch) test tape. Please note that this product is not repulpable.

Intertape PM2 Medium-Grade Flatback Packaging Tape is a quick, sure sealing, economical, pressure-sensitive flatback tape which can increase packaging line efficiency. It is versatile and offers a positive attractive seal which matches most corrugated cardboard. IPG PM-2 is quick stick and has excellent adhesion which discourages pilfering. It performs well under a wide range of temperatures and through a wide range of humidity conditions (also performs well as a low-temperature splicing tape). It also meets USPS requirements, is not repulpable, and can be used on all types of cartons.

Intertape PS3 Premium Paper Flatback Tape is a high performance, water-resistant, kraft flatback, pressure-sensitive adhesive tape. It features easy release from roll, good quick stick, excellent bonding to cartons and good edge tear resistance. Intertape PS-3 performs well as a low-temperature splicing tape and is designed for heavy-duty packaging closure and tabbing. PS3 is not repulpable.

JVCC FPPT-EG Economy-Grade Flatback Packaging Tape is a Kraft flatback paper tape coated with a rubber adhesive on one side. Used for general carton sealing and packaging applications. Please note the total thickness of this economy-grade tape is 1 mil thinner than other Flatback paper tapes such as Intertape 530 and JVCC FPPT-01. This difference in adhesive coat weight results in a slightly less adhesive tape than the two products previously mentioned. Complies with Postal Regulation for Uninsured Packages.
