JVCC TEV-ST is made with a matted polyester backing for high-strength and has a solvent based acrylic adhesive for all weather adhesion. The tape either comes surface printed with "SECURITY TAPE" printed on the top side of the tape or a few sizes can be purchased in solid red or tan with no printing on the top side of the tape. JVCC TEV-OV Tamper Evident Carton Sealing Tape is a premium, unique red or blue solid colored carton sealing tape. A hidden message, "OPENED VOID" for 2-inch wide rolls or "VOID" for 3-inch wide rolls, is deposited on the container if the tape is removed or tampered with. It is not suitable for recycled cartons and it must be on the box for at least 6 hours before removing in order to reveal the legend. It discourages tampering with and pilfering of the contents of the sealed carton. Used in applications where high security is critical: pharmaceuticals, chemical & medical equipment, crime evidence & independent labs, currency handlers, money bags, credit card/security bags, shipping and cargo handlers, transportation in food items; and products of high cost and/or high demand, such as electronics, clothing and sporting goods.
