Nitto P-703 High Temperature Masking Tape is primarily intended for high temperature paint masking applications and is a premium crepe paper masking tape, Nitto Denko / Permacel P703 is also designed for general-purpose masking as well as for holding and splicing - especially with difficult-to-hold surfaces such as chemically-treated fabrics. It is resistant to acrylic and alkyd paint solvents and has fair resistance to ketones and highly active polyurethane paint solvents. Shurtape CP-901 Steep Pipe Masking Tape is the first high temperature masking tape in the industry which is designed specifically for steel pipe coating applications. The tape is coated with a solvent rubber adhesive system that is purpose-built to perform at elevated temperatures yielding quick "stick" performance, excellent adhesion to the hot pipes, and easy, residue-free removal (also no charring of the tape). It also has a special cured release system which ensures it adheres well to itself, preventing coating damage caused by loose tape ends.
