Fiberglass is moisture and mildew resistant so it is ideal for high traffic areas where moisture is a problem such as bathrooms, basements, and decks. For both indoor and outdoor use. Since Duck Indoor/Outdoor Fiberglass Carpet Tape is for permanent installations removal could cause damage to not only the floor but also to the carpet. Instructions To Apply Double-Sided Fiberglass Carpet Tape Thoroughly clean and dry floor surface. Apply tape, liner side up, pressing firmly to floor. Roll or fold one half or carpet cut to fit area back over itself. Remove tape liner, then roll or fold carpet back down to floor, pressing firmly for good adhesion. Then repeat for the other half of carpet.

    Duck Brand Carpet Seaming Tape is a single-sided fiberglass tape with an adhesive backing on one side. The fiberglass carrier on the tape is moisture and mildew resistant. Duck Carpet Seaming Tape can be used both indoors and outdoors. The tape helps to quickly join carpet pieces together without special tools or irons - the tape is self-stick and there is no liner to remove. Recommended for permanent applications. Application Instructions Position carpet as desired, butting together edges to be seamed. Fold back edges and begin to unroll tape into the exposed seaming area non-adhesive side to the floor. Caution: the adhesive on the tape is extremely aggressive and may become permanent with initial contact to carpet backing. Be certain to center the tape correctly as you begin. Continue to unroll tape several feet at a time pressing seam edges back down into adhesive firmly for good adhesion.

Also the tape is strong, fast and easy to use - no need to re-apply compound to joints.Duck Drywall Joint Tape is used for repairing cracks and small holes. Instructions for Taping Drywall (Sheetrock) Joints Clean surface of dust and dirt. Position tape over seam and cut to exact length. When seaming drywall/wallboard joints, use only quick setting joint compound. For best results maintain room temperature between 50° - 70°F. Apply joint compound working it through the mesh. Let dry to manufacturer's instructions and sand smooth. Apply a second, thinner coat wider than the first feathering edges outward. Let dry and sand smooth. Instructions for Repairing Cracks Slightly open up crack to a width of 1/8" and fill with ready mix or any setting compound. Let dry to manufacturer's instructions. Clean and sand surface. Apply joint tape to the repair area; overlapping the end of each crack by 1" or more. Spread compound down the crack, working it through the mesh. let dry and sand smooth. For a finished appearance apply a second, thinner coat wider than the first. Let dry and sand smooth. Instructions for Patching Holes Clean and sand surface. Cut two pieces of joint tape 2" longer than the hole dimensions. Apply tape over the hole in a criss-cross manner so entire opening is covered by both layers. Depress joint tape 1/4" into hole and fill with ready mix or any setting compound. Let dry to manufacturer's instructions and sand smooth. For a finished appearance apply a second, thinner coat wider than the first. Let dry and sand smooth.
