FindTape.com Aids Military Families with $7,100 Donation to Operation Homefront
Skillman, NJ, June 10, 2015 -- FindTape.com, the online source for pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, showed its support of military families by donating $7,102.30 to Operation Homefront, a national nonprofit dedicated to providing assistance to military families.
The donation represents a percentage of the online retailer's sales between May 22 and May 29, 2015.
"Too many of our military families struggle financially and suffer from unimaginable tragedies, including death, injury, or physical or mental detriment as a result of service since 9/11," said Kevin Mahoney, the company's president. "I'm thrilled to be able to give back and thank them for their service. And I'm very grateful to our customers who supported this effort."
The online retailer has many ties to the military, servicemen, and their families. Many divisions of the U.S. military are FindTape.com customers, and Robert Valley, owner of the primary tape converter that supplies products to FindTape.com, served as a member of the 82nd Airborne and is a veteran of both Operation Just Cause in Panama and the Gulf War in Iraq.
