Use an ATG dispenser to easily apply adhesive transfer gun tape, also known as ATG tape. ATG tape can be effectively used for many personal and professional projects, such as framing artwork, adding photos and clippings to scrapbooks, mounting photographs or designing and packaging prototypes.
Unlike traditional tape, ATG tape is not supported by a carrier or backing (such as cloth, paper or film). This pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is pre-applied to a special release liner which is then reverse wound onto a plastic core. The release liner is located on the underside of the tape strip when you unwind it. This is why ATG tape dispensers are required to dispense and apply ATG tape.
The tape is held in place by a plastic spool. Pressing the trigger on the handle during application lets the spool move freely inside of the dispenser. As the tape is dispensed, the release liner is automatically wound up by the take-up spool, making application quick and easy. To end the tape application, simply release the trigger and pull away the dispenser. The unbacked adhesive strip will then be ready for you to apply the material you wish to attach.
When applying ATG tape, make sure you use one of these special ATG tape dispensers! Ordinary tape dispensers will not work properly with ATG tape.
ATG Tape Dispenser Features and Benefits:
