How to Use Adhesive Transfer Gun (ATG) Tape
These tape rolls are reverse wound. That is, the release liner is on the tape's underside when it is unwound. These ATG rolls are designed to be used with an ATG tape gun, which makes the application process fast and smooth. Rolls are wound onto a plastic core, so they easily snap into place on the ATG tape dispenser gun, and the tape is then ready to be applied to your projects. Press the handle trigger to apply. This lets the spool move freely inside of the dispenser. As the tape is dispensed, the release liner is automatically wound up by the take-up spool. To stop applying tape, simply release the trigger and pull away the dispenser. The unbacked adhesive strip is now ready for the material you wish to attach.
ATG Tape for Photo Mounting and Scrapbooking
When used for photo mounting and scrapbooking, the pH content should be pH 7, acid free, which is pH or acid neutral. This type of tape is designed so that it won't yellow over time. Examples of acid-free ATG tape include 3M Scotch 908, ATG Gold Tape, and JVCC ATG-7502.
