Commonly used in the chemical industry and construction machinery industry, wrap tapes are non-corrosive tape that can be wrapped around piping to seal leaks, protect against corrosion and to insulate. In addition to its corrosion resistance, this type of tape is also moisture-resistant and highly conformable so it's easy to wrap around pipes and irregular shaped objects.
Many types of pipe corrosion protection tape are amazingly tough, offering resistance to chemicals, UV damage, corrosion, rust and more. FindTape.com offers corrosion control pipe wrap, self-fusing tape and insulation tape in this category.
- Sealing leaks
- Protecting pipes against corrosion
- Insulating pipes
- Electrical wiring

You can use corrosion-resistant pipe wrap tape, such as Shurtape PW-100
, for wrapping underground piping, including plastic and metal pipes. This Shurtape pipe tape is coated with a rubber adhesive and is carried on a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) film backing. FindTape carries pipe wrap tape with a variety of adhesive types, including acrylic, silicone and synthetic rubber. This tape offers adhesion to stainless steel at 20 ounces per inch, the highest adhesion level of any of the pipe tapes we carry.
We also carry self-fusing tape, which fuses to its own backing when wrapped around a pipe. This is especially helpful when you want to be able to create a thorough water-tight seal around pipes, electrical wiring and hoses. We recommend Nashua Stretch & Seal Self-Fusing Silicone Tape
for such applications, as this type of tape offers temperature resistance from -60 degrees to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and is chemical- and UV-resistant. We carry standard black pipe wrap tape with labeling as well as colored styles at FindTape.com.
